Acts 17

Here's how the study works:
Read the chapter mentioned in the heading several times during the week and share any words, thoughts, verses that stood out to you. Having a week for a chapter creates the opportunity to reread it several times and make additional comments as you feel inclined as well as make comments on other people's insights.

v.34 A few men became followers of Paul and believed.

But we have no letter to the Athenians. Paul was alone in Athens (v.16) and it seems his ministry wasn't as successful here. We work better in teams.

v.27 God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.

God created man to seek him. However He doesn't force people to be in relationship with him because that would be control not love.

v.11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

We need more Bereans!
